Em 2023, a ONU reportou que quase <\/span>1 em 4 mulheres<\/b><\/a> queriam evitar a gravidez estavam insatisfeitas com as op\u00e7\u00f5es contracetivas dispon\u00edveis. <\/span><\/p>

The WHO also revealed that\u00a0 in 2024 only <\/span>2 em 5 escolas no mundo<\/b><\/a> provided menstrual health education.<\/span><\/p>

As a consequence, many menstruators have turned to period apps. But here\u2019s the problem: most period apps tell you when you\u2019re \u201cfertile\u201d or that you \u201covulated on day X\u201d but <\/span>ovulation cannot be predicted <\/b>and an app or fancy algorithm cannot know if you ovulated or not.<\/p>

These tools offer you false certainty, which to me, is <\/span>gaslighting <\/b>&\u00a0it\u2019s harming our ability to make informed decisions about our reproductive health.<\/span><\/p>
